Child homicide (abuse) and fatal accidents

Description:

Assault (homicide) is the #2 cause of death among Bexar County toddlers aged 1-4. Homicides accounted for 16.2% of all Bexar Co. deaths in that age group in the period from 2004-2008, as compared to 9.2% in Texas.

Accidents, including preventable accidents, are a leading cause of death among children aged 1-4 in every CI:Now county as of 2008.
